
The ultimate goal of Mentorship Program is to reduce the HIV prevalence from the present 6.5% to less than 1% in Uganda.
Mentorship Program is an educational program that corroborates with HIV/AIDS positive along with seronegative persons to convey educational information about HIV and AIDS for reformation and positive lifestyle among the adults; and to establish positive behavioral patterns among the children.
Mentorship Training: For effective and pro active service delivery, training is provided to mentors to enhance communication, counseling and community mobilization skills along with an introduction to HIV prevention information.
Winners Society: For purposes of participatory, initiatives, the mentorship program, established a children’s forum to address the needs of the children in and out of schools in gender issues, peer pressure balance, and life skills consolidation.
