On Tuesday 01st August a team from SAS Dental Clinic led by Dr. and Mrs. Mawano and the Project Coordinator SAS Foundation (U) Ltd were invited to MILDMAY INTERNATIONAL an HIV/AIDS service provider to receive Dental Chairs donated by the University of Texas through A-DEC. Dr. John Sexton a Christian Pediatric Dentist from the United States of America facilitated the provision of this donation to Uganda Hospitals, NGO’s and private practitioners of which SAS Foundation (U) Ltd was a beneficiary. The recipients are requested to make good use of these chairs by providing dental services to children and adults including those infected with HIV/AIDS.
In respect to the above, a team of medical personnel from United States of America shall visit Uganda once in a year starting with February 2007 for the mentoring process.
We are particularly grateful for this donation most especially as we aim at providing quality and affordable medical services.
