On Thursday 15th September from 9:00am, we were privileged to host our partners from BRIDEWAY FOUNDATION – USA who contributed $8000 towards the start up costs of SAS Foundation (U) Ltd which is running an Early Intervention Clinic in Bugolobi behind Bugolobi Nursing Home. The team that came from Bridgeway Foundation included KIM WALTERS and JOHN MONTGOMERY. They were also accompanied by two other friends and partners in the fight against HIV/AIDS, CREIG HAMMON working with CURE INTERNATIONAL – USA and SAM BAGUMA from CURE INTERNATIONAL - UGANDA.
During their visit they where taken round the office premises by the Managing Director, Dr. Grace Kaisa and the Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Hon. Beatrice Byenkya. They also addressed the “Disciples” who have been trained by SAS Foundation (U) Ltd and been sent out to different communities as AGENTS OF CHANGE.
They appreciated the great work being done and thanked the team for their service, perseverance and courage. Since they came to Uganda, this was one of their most productive visits to a partnering organisation, they were extremely impressed.
